Inventory Specialist

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:45 PM

Cookies-N-Milk, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable & Inventory Control Clerk to support both accounting and warehouse operations. This position combines financial recordkeeping, accounts payable processing, and inventory management responsibilities in a food manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy. This role will work in both office and warehouse environments, including freezer and dry goods storage areas.

• Process, verify, and enter vendor invoices for payment.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare invoices, vouchers, journal entries, and accounting reports.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Generate reports and conduct financial research using office systems.
• Ensure proper coding and allocation of expenses.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting processes as needed.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
• Receive and verify incoming materials and merchandise.
• Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Track inventory usage, pricing, and supplier contracts.
• Support warehouse operations in freezer and dry goods areas.
• Operate pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Assist with loss prevention and inventory accuracy initiatives.

• Previous Accounts Payable, Accounting Clerk, or Inventory Control experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse operations preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
