We are partnering with a rapidly growing manufacturing company seeking a Senior Corporate Controller to lead its accounting organization during a period of significant growth. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the CFO, responsible for overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, consolidations, cost accounting, and process improvements across a multi-site organization. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities- Lead all corporate accounting functions including general ledger, financial reporting, cost accounting, consolidations, and month‑end close.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
- Manage multi‑entity and multi‑site consolidations while ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Improve financial processes, internal controls, and shorten the month‑end close cycle.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide financial analysis and strategic business support.
- Lead external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Drive ERP optimization and support future system implementations.
- Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and operational finance.
- Develop and mentor a high‑performing accounting team while fostering continuous improvement.
- Support acquisition integration efforts and help standardize financial processes across newly acquired businesses.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA required.
- 12+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience.
- Strong experience with multi‑entity consolidations and multi‑site operations.
- Manufacturing and cost accounting experience required.
- Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Experience leading ERP implementations or major system improvements preferred.
- Hands‑on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically while remaining involved in day‑to‑day operations.
- Report directly to the CFO with significant executive visibility.
