** This position can be based out of the McKinney, TX or Paris, TX office

We're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting team and support financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and financial analysis. This role will work closely with the accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong financial controls, and data integrity across the organization.

• Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements
• Manage and monitor data flow between accounting systems and subsystems
• Support operational controls, documentation, and troubleshooting processes to ensure data integrity
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, including accruals, liabilities, schedules, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Analyze month-end variances and provide reporting on key findings
• Analyze relationships between sales volumes and expense categories and provide recommendations
• Review sales margins and identify low-margin regions or branches requiring additional analysis
• Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting
• Collect, analyze, and report financial and operational data to evaluate company performance
• Support preparation of budgets and financial operating reports
• Present financial findings and recommendations to the CFO
• Analyze and accurately determine costs and profitability by branch
• Ensure accounting activity is accurately recorded and reconciled within each reporting period

• 1+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a healthcare environment
• Previous General Ledger and ERP system experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with complex or ambiguous information
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Sound judgment and planning abilities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit, or a related field
• Ability to work with algebraic equations and calculate units-of-measure conversions
