Overview
Job Description - Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Passport Clerk. This position accepts and processes passport applications by reviewing the applications for any mistakes, verifying U.S. citizenship and identification, taking photographs according to federal guidelines, witnessing the application, accepting fees and swearing the applicant in. Performs related duties as assigned. Work is performed under the direction of a Lead Clerk (Passports).

- Verify U.S. citizenship and identification.
- Take photographs according to federal guidelines.
- Witness the application, collect fees, and swear in the applicant.
- Perform related duties as assigned under the direction of a Lead Clerk (Passports).
- Candidates must have knowledge of basic operational, technical, or office processes.
- No experience required.
- Education equivalent to four years of high school.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
