Job Description
Collin County is seeking candidates for the position of Auxiliary Court Coordinator. The Auxiliary Court Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to, managing and coordinating court operations, visiting judges, and auxiliary court staff. Work is performed under the direction of the Local Administrative Judge.
Primary FunctionsProviding assistance to the judge(s), the deputy court administrator, and court administrator, as needed.
Maintaining the court dockets and trials, schedules, caseloads, and managing juries for both the Auxiliary Court and Crimes Against Children (CAC) dockets.
Processing all search and arrest warrant applications submitted to judge(s).
Processing all scheduling requests for use of central jury room by persons/departments other than jury services.
Processing all requests from District Court bailiffs for coverage.
Performing other administrative duties, including processing transfer orders for the Local Administrative Judge, and assists with budget preparation.
Performing other related duties as assigned.
Must possess the knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes.
Must have a level of education of four years of high school or equivalent.
Must have six (6) months to one year of advanced study, in court administration or court related functions.
Must have at least two to four years of relevant experience.
Must possess and maintain a valid Texas Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.
