* This Bilingual Receptionist position is a full-time, on-site temporary assignment with a public housing authority that serves a diverse community. The role requires consistent, professional front-desk coverage Monday through Thursday. The Bilingual Receptionist provides the first point of contact for visitors, applicants, residents, vendors, and other stakeholders, both in person and by telephone. The position requires fluent English and Spanish language skills in order to support individuals from diverse backgrounds and to ensure clear communication.
The environment is administrative and service-oriented, requiring a combination of reception, clerical, administrative, and customer service responsibilities.

** What You Will Do?*
* + Answer incoming phone calls in English and Spanish, route calls appropriately, and provide basic information to residents and visitors with clear and accurate communication.
+ Greet walk-in visitors and residents in English and Spanish, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct them to the appropriate staff or department in a professional manner.
+ Perform front-desk administrative and clerical duties, including filing, data entry, document handling, and managing basic office correspondence for the housing authority.
+ Maintain an orderly reception area, monitor visitor sign-in procedures, and follow established front-desk protocols to support building security and organization.
+ Support housing authority staff by scheduling appointments, updating basic records, and assisting with customer service inquiries from individuals with diverse backgrounds.
** Your Skills*
* + Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly with individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
+ High school diploma or HSD/GED equivalent, with the ability to apply basic administrative skills in a professional office environment.
+ Previous experience in administrative, clerical, customer service, or reception roles, preferably in a public service or similar setting.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including professional telephone etiquette and the ability to manage face-to-face interactions calmly.
+ Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and follow established procedures while handling multiple inquiries at the reception desk.
** Pay Details:** $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
