Ability to proficiently operate one or more of the following types of equipment:
- Excavator 345+ $25.08-$28.74 DOE
- Dozer $22.99-$25.08 DOE
- Loader / Forklift $17.77-$28.22 DOE
- Loader Backhoe $18.81-$20.90 DOE
- Roller / Rock / Bobcat $17.77-$20.90 DOE
Essential Job Accountabilities
- Safely operate heavy equipment to excavate, move, load and grade earth, rock, gravel, and other materials
- Perform various activities including but not limited to: road building, fine grading, finishing, sloping, banking, back filling, demolition, ditching, loading, excavating, stockpiling, road surface maintenance, building and maintaining road berms, loading trucks, and trenching
- Operate equipment proficiently and safely
- Ensure operation of equipment is within capabilities and limitations
- Perform required safety inspections and complete documentation
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
- Perform other duties as required
Work Experience
- Must have construction experience / heavy construction preferred
- Minimum of 5 year experience required
- Batch Plant experience preferred

- Read engineering drawing

- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Follow instructions and meet set standards
- Judge distances and slopes accurately
- Make decisions based on verifiable standards
Physically, workers must be able to:
- Stoop, bend, and crouch
- Use hands, arms, and legs fully
- See well (either naturally or with correction)
- Lift up to 50 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
