Material Estimator; HYBRID

What You Will Do

Development, analysis, and completion of material proposals and creation of Material Cost Summary (MCS).

Evaluation of material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and programs in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Use of company estimating and pricing tools and systems.

Development of Material Basis of Estimates, including tracking progress, validating supplier quotes, analyzing purchase order history, maintaining program consistency, and verifying estimating approach.

Compliance of proposals with FAR and internal requirements as material point of contact.

Development and implementation of solutions for material packages.

Analysis of inputs supporting material estimates.

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in science, supply chain, accounting/finance, business administration, or equivalent, or
• Minimum 5 years of experience with an advanced degree in a related field.
• Excel proficiency including formulas, macros, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering, and sorting.
• U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and TINA for federal proposal regulations.

• Strong organization and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams with peers and management.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Experience meeting deadlines in schedule‑driven environments.
• Experience in proposal development, price buildup, and estimating and pricing processes.
