The City of McKinney is hiring a Building Inspector to ensure compliance with building codes and ordinances. You will inspect new and existing structures, maintain accurate documentation of inspections, and collaborate with contractors and developers to address concerns.
Ideal candidates should have a high school diploma, two years of construction experience, and will need to obtain ICC certification within six months. A Class C Texas Driver’s License is required for driving to inspection sites.
