Estimating and Pricing Professional

What You Will Do

• Development, analysis, and completion of material proposals and creation of Material Cost Summary (MCS).
• Evaluation of material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and programs with cross‑functional teams.
• Use of company estimating and pricing tools and systems.
• Development of Material Basis of Estimates, including tracking progress, validating supplier quotes, analyzing purchase order history, maintaining program consistency, and verifying estimating approach.
• Compliance of proposals with FAR and internal requirements as material point of contact.
• Development and implementation of solutions for material packages.
• Analysis of inputs supporting material estimates.

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in science, supply chain, accounting/finance, business administration, or equivalent experience and a minimum of eight years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of five years experience.
• Excel experience including formulas, macros, lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering, and sorting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Knowledge of federal proposal regulations including FAR, DFARS, and TINA.

This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS) handles the clearance process.
