Site Safety Representative

RPM Utilities is seeking an experienced Site Safety Representative (SSR) to support our construction projects. This position will primarily support local projects; however, occasional travel or out-of-town project assignments may be required based on business needs.

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture on the jobsite
• Conduct daily jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards
• Ensure employees and subcontractors follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements
• Conduct toolbox talks and assist with safety meetings
• Monitor PPE compliance and safe work practices
• Assist with incident, injury, and near-miss investigations
• Complete required safety documentation and reports
• Work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, Project Management, and Safety leadership
• Address unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately
• Assist with new-hire and site-specific safety orientations

• Previous construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 required
• OSHA 510 preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA construction standards and jobsite safety practices
• Ability to travel occasionally as project needs require
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Underground utility/heavy civil construction experience
• Previous experience working directly with field crews
