Floral Designer

Petals Couture is a floral and event design studio that provides a creative approach to classic style.

We love to create full floral designs with big blooms, bright color, and individual character, resulting in events that feel fresh, inviting, and memorable. Our goal is to give our guests an experience they'll never forget.

We are looking to hire a creative floral designer to create and present standard and customized floral arrangements to customers. The floral designer's responsibilities include:

• Preparing flowers and arrangements following recipes for weddings and special events, including corsages, centerpieces, boutonnieres, bouquets, etc.
• Fulfilling orders, checking supplies, and unpacking stock.
• Leading a crew on‑site at weddings and events (top performers).
• Striking events after the celebration.
• Decorating or supervising the decoration of buildings, halls, churches, and other venues for parties, weddings, and other occasions.
• Participating in activities such as reading and implementing design boards.
• Applying knowledge of floral types and flower conditioning.
• Standing on feet for 8–12 hours at a time while maintaining workspace cleanliness.
• Demonstrating excellent organizational skills, teamwork, and timely delivery of ordered floral arrangements.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Sound knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Artistic and creative.
• Detail‑oriented.
