Responsible to prepare and deliver coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to the college's core values, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meet professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures.

• Teach courses in accordance with the schedule of classes and follow the approved course descriptions and syllabi established by the Division faculty and administered by the associate dean/director.
• Teaching assignments may be on one or more of the college's campuses or off‑site locations and may include evening and weekend programs.
• Collin College is not hiring for online instruction at this time.
• May include Dual Credit courses.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform all duties and maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures and core values.

In accordance with Texas Education Code §51.992, this position is designated for in‑person work at a campus or other location of Collin College. Remote or telecommuting arrangements are not permitted except under specific circumstances defined by law, including temporary illness, approved distance education assignments, or other narrow statutory exceptions. All candidates should expect to perform duties on‑site. Candidates are also encouraged to review this in‑person requirement and reach out with any questions if further clarification is needed.

Sedentary work with occasional exertion up to 10 pounds. Sitting most of the time with occasional walking, standing, or repetitive motions. Office environment; little physical effort required. Must be able to handle tasks such as talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, as well as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, accounting, finance or closely related discipline.
• Teaching experience is desired.
• Security sensitive position – subject to a criminal background check.

Please note, our part‑time faculty positions are posted based on anticipated need and student enrollment. This position may remain open during the academic year. Part time. Compensation is per adjunct faculty and CE instructor rates.
