Job Title
Support district wide outreach and recruitment of prospective students for all Collin College academic and/or workforce programs.
Location:
2200 W. University Drive, McKinney, Texas, 75071
- Responsible for facilitating communication recruitment efforts to support movement from prospective student to enrolled student.
- Coordinate Mobile Go Center outreach events with local ISD schools and in the community.
- Coordinate recruiting opportunities with the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO).
- Develop and coordinate college recruitment programs/events in area high schools.
- Schedule College 101 and Collin College presentations for high school and middle school populations. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate student ambassadors.
- Prepare and disseminate Collin College publications to high school counselors and administrators. Coordinate ISD and community group tours at all main campus sites throughout the district. Coordinate college information booths/tables at community events. such as the Plano Balloon Festival.
- Advise and assist students in developing an academic plan, course selection, schedule changes, course transferability, unofficial transcript evaluation, and course withdrawals.
- Establish working relationships with various personnel at local institutions and organizations to promote the college's academic and/or workforce programs.
- Travel within the service area to promote college programs or to attend seminars, workshops, meetings, etc.
- Prepare reports and evaluations of programs implemented to include tracking and follow-up with prospective students. Maintain confidentiality of student records in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
- Remain current in knowledge of external communication best practices to collaborate and assist in creating district publications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform all duties to maintain all standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values.

Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work.
Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required. Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution required.
Two (2) years of related experience.
Preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.

Hiring Maximum: $65,957.00
Compensation is determined based on experience.
