Adjunct Professor, Health Information Management

• Prepare and deliver engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate coursework
• Teach courses according to the schedule of classes and approved course descriptions and syllabi
• Perform teaching assignments at one or more college campuses or off-site locations, including possible evening and weekend programs
• Potentially teach Dual Credit courses
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain standards in accordance with college policies, procedures, and core values

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any discipline and RHIA or RHIT certification
• OR Master's degree with a concentration in Health Administration, Healthcare Management, or a closely related field
• Conferred transcripts, licenses, and certifications must be attached to the application
• Candidates must be subject to a criminal background check
• Dual credit assignments require an additional fingerprinting background check with the Texas Department of Public Safety
• Teaching experience is desired
• Must perform duties in person/on-site; remote or telecommuting arrangements are generally not permitted
• Ability to teach according to approved course descriptions, syllabi, schedules, college policies, procedures, and core values

Demonstrates expertise in delivering engaging coursework and teaching in accordance with college policies and approved syllabi. Holds relevant certifications and educational qualifications to effectively teach in health administration or healthcare management.
