IDR is seeking a Data Engineer to join one of our top clients in McKinney, TX.
Our client is looking for a Data Engineer to work closely with the data architect and business stakeholders to help translate business needs to technical solutions while ensuring the data is reliable, secure, and easily accessible.
- 3 years of experience in ELT/ETL pipeline development, data warehousing/modeling, data quality and governance
- 2 years’ of hands‑on experience with API integrations and data ingestion from multiple sources
- 2 years’ experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
- Professional experience being a liaison between technical and non‑technical audiences
- Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices
- Experience using Power BI to turn data into dashboards
- Certifications such as Cloud Data Engineering Certificates, Data Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Data Engineer, Google Professional Data Engineer, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), etc.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software/Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 25 Years of Proven Industry Experience in 4 major markets
