Position OverviewThe Process Engineer will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing operations at our wire production facility. This position focuses on improving productivity, quality, safety, and cost-efficiency through data-driven analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Job Functions- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams to troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze production data and conduct root cause investigations to identify and resolve inefficiencies.
- Support Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives under the guidance of the Process Engineering Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and technical reports.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in the integration of new equipment, technologies, and product lines into existing manufacturing processes.
- Lead or support small-scale projects and contribute to larger engineering initiatives.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in process engineering and wire manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations (wire manufacturing experience preferred).
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies (certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn and grow within the role.
