Senior RF Test Systems Engineer – Onsite
Location:
McKinney, TX. This full‑time position supports Surveillance & Tactical Radar Solutions (STaRS) Test Automation and requires a 100% onsite presence in McKinney, TX.
The Test Automation Department (TAD) designs and develops test equipment, hardware, and software for a wide range of products and customers. The STaRS Test Automation section supports change incorporation and obsolescence redesign efforts of various legacy systems in direct support of production capabilities.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot test equipment, circuit boards, cables, and related components.
- Analyze data, develop solutions or alternative methods to optimize performance and increase work efficiency.
- Facilitate project tasks with functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.
- Work independently to drive toward project goals.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of RF experience.
- At least 5 years of experience emphasizing Automation Test Equipment/Unit Under Test (ATE/UUT) Test Systems Engineering.
- Experience with hardware and test software development, integration, verification, validation, and/or maintenance in production, manufacturing, or product qualification environments.
- Effective communication skills within a cross‑functional team of test personnel (electrical, software, mechanical, etc.).
- Knowledge of RF technology across Communications and Radar systems.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Proficiency in test software such as MATLAB, Test Stand, and/or Test Executive.
U.S. citizenship is required. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required; an active and existing clearance must be in place from day one.
Benefits & RelocationThis position is eligible for relocation. RTX offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) match, and paid time off, among others. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
