- Assist with architecture development at the circuit card level.
- Design, analyze, test, and document digital electronics circuit card assemblies including embedded processors, FPGAs, memories, and industry standard interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART.
- Partner with senior engineers and ECAD drafters through stack‑up definition, pre/post‑route simulation (SI/PI), layout, and routing activities.
- Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
- Provide product test and troubleshooting support.
- Understand and report execution status to the planned budget and schedule.
- Function as an individual contributor.
- Clearly present your work product to leadership.
- Engage in professional growth and development.
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Design, analysis, simulation, and/or test experience with digital electronic circuit designs including processors, FPGAs, high‑speed transceivers, DDR, and flash memories.
- Experience with a schematic capture/circuit board layout CAD package.
- Experience working with standard lab equipment for integration and verification testing of hardware designs.
- One or more advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or a related STEM major.
- Experience with technical drawing packages for circuit assemblies.
- Experience with tests and troubleshooting of circuit card assemblies in a lab or production environment.
- Knowledge of a formal design process for circuit card assemblies.
- Experience maturing a design concept from the block diagram or requirements level to development of a complete, verified hardware design.
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) stack‑up definition.
- Experience guiding Electronic Computer‑Aided Design (ECAD) personnel through PCB layout and technical drawing creation.
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition: xDX Designer, xPCB Layout, and/or Hyperlynx.
- Experience communicating and documenting technical topics.
- Demonstrated ability to lead design efforts and/or small teams.
Salary range: 68,900 USD – 131,100 USD.
