Overview
The Multi-Product Power & Digital (MPD) department designs FPGAs, circuit cards, and electronics subassemblies for missile, radar, and electronic warfare systems. You will collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architectures, execute detailed design and simulations, and perform integration and verification tasks.
PositionPower & Analog Design Engineer II (Onsite, McKinney, Texas). U.S. citizenship and a valid DoD Secret clearance are required.
Responsibilities- Assist with architecture development at the circuit card level.
- Design, analyze, test, and document analog and power conversion circuitry.
- Partner with senior engineers and ECAD drafters through stack‑up definition, layout, and routing activities.
- Support integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories.
- Provide product test and troubleshooting support.
- Understand and report execution status to the planned budget and schedule.
- Engage in professional growth and development.
- Degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with non‑isolated converter topologies such as buck, boost, or buck‑boost.
- Experience designing analog electronics, including FETs/BJTs, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, or comparator circuits.
- Proficiency with tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar.
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field (equivalent to 2 years of experience).
- Experience with high voltage (>400 V) or high power (>10 kW) designs.
- Knowledge of three‑phase power systems, power factor control, and inverter/rectifier development.
- Familiarity with military specifications.
- Experience with circuit simulators (SIMPLIS) or system simulators (SABER).
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition, xDX Designer, xPCB Layout, or Hyperlynx.
- Experience guiding ECAD personnel through PWB layout of power circuitry and technical drawing creation.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Lab experience with power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Demonstrated leadership of design efforts or small teams.

Compensation ranges from 68,900 USD to 131,100 USD, commensurate with experience.
