Production Test Engineer (PTE)

Job Type: Onsite

Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance required prior to start date.

• Provide test engineering support in manufacturing areas; interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control to address urgent test needs.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data; perform tests and use engineering drawings and manuals as reference.
• Perform technical efforts including process, test, troubleshooting, and repair of digital, analog, and RF equipment.
• Disposition non‑conforming material using root‑cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve cycle time, ergonomic risk, and cost using Six Sigma principles and data‑driven decision making.

Must Have:

• Degree in STEM and minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with RF test methods, troubleshooting, and RF microwave product testing.
• Ability to obtain interim U.S. security clearance prior to start date.

Preferred:

• Experience reading and interpreting drawings for measurement and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
• Knowledge of RF measurements including S‑parameters, Noise Figure, third‑order intercept, phase error, return loss, compression, gain, insertion loss, VSWR.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as network analyzers, DAQ, DC power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, digital multimeters, pulse generators, signal generators, attenuators, RF amplifiers, couplers, power dividers, RF switches.
• Active existing security clearance.

Salary range: $68,900 - $131,100 USD. Candidates may be eligible for annual incentive compensation and other benefits depending on position and business unit.
