Senior Principal Engineer – Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL)
Location:
McKinney, TX. Onsite. U.S. citizenship required; active Secret clearance necessary.
Raytheon’s Advanced Products & Solutions (APS) SBU Engineering Team seeks a Senior Principal Engineer to serve as the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for a development program focused on program execution. The IPTL leads robust execution practices for engineering development, ensures contractual and technical subsystem requirements are met, and coordinates with customer stakeholders.
What You Will Do- Meet contractual commitments, including financial, technical, and schedule performance.
- Report business metrics to program and functional leadership.
- Provide technical execution leadership for design, development, integration & test, verification, qualification, and delivery.
- Communicate program status, accomplishments, issues, and support needs to Raytheon leadership and customers.
- Contribute to program vision and execution strategy as a member of the Program Leadership Team.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities.
- Mentor and guide team members.
- Travel as necessary (≈10%).
- Degree in STEM and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in Program Management and/or IPT execution within the Defense Industry.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams across multiple disciplines.
- Experience with EVMS, IMP/IMS, or risk & opportunity management.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance required prior to start.
- Experience leading development and maintenance across multiple program sites.
- Experience with Supplier Management.
- Experience leading Systems Engineering teams.
- Experience with Agile Lifecycle Management tools, preferably Jira.
- Excellent presentation and proposal skills.
- Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain.
Salary range: $132,400 – $251,600 USD (dependent on experience). Relocation assistance available.
