Job SummaryAs the Senior RF Electronics Engineer Test Lead, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to oversee deliverables and conduct test validations related to RF Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Design Verification Testing (DVT) and production testing, as well as support electronics development efforts. In this role you will collaborate with cross‑disciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, mission‑critical solutions that align with program goals and timelines.
WhatYou Will Do
- Oversee all production testing and Design Verification Testing efforts for the RF CCAs.
- Act as a technical interface between the test team and program leadership.
- Conduct comprehensive RF CCA/module checkout in accordance with the developed test plan and validate against the requirements matrix.
- Ensure compliance with technical performance standards and program requirements.
- Perform failure investigations and troubleshoot RF hardware to identify and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Integrated Product Team Lead to ensure Integrated Master Schedule tasking and priorities are achieved.
- Review and analyze data for all current RF CCA/module deliveries to ensure accuracy and alignment with program objectives.
- Provide support for sub‑system integration activities, as required.
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in RF, analog, digital, and power electronics test methodology and troubleshooting, RF circuit card design and fabrication, simulation and analysis of RF products.
- Experience with any combination of the following tools: signal generator, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, Xpedition schematic/layout tool or equivalent, System Vue/Genesys or equivalent, Advanced Design System (ADS) or equivalent.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret) after day one; U.S. citizenship required.
- Advanced degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline.
- Highly self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Capable of preparing technical review documentation with minimal oversight.
- Strong knowledge of RF/Digital electronics and practical experience across all phases of the product development lifecycle.
- Expertise in design and testing of up‑down converters and synthesizers, cascade analysis, circuit card assembly design and fabrication, high‑speed data converter test/characterization.
- Proficiency in writing Python scripts to automate test equipment control.
- Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, including yield and margin analysis.
Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
