This position is onsite in McKinney, TX.

The Lab Lead shall ensure lab personnel operate to standard lab run rules and applicable RF & Microelectronics policies within the lab, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, 6S, FOD/FOE, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property controls, ESD controls, Housekeeping, Shelf‑life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics.

What You Will Do
  • Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
  • Management coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment
  • Property & Metrology Management including maintenance of equipment service contracts and ongoing equipment repairs
  • Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
  • Perform lab purchase requests through SAP, SRM, and Vallen, while providing process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
  • Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long‑range objectives, including engineering customer goals
  • Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
  • Develop and implement communication plans, providing consulting support to functional and engineering customer management
  • Work to influence stakeholders within and outside responsible areas at an operational level regarding policies, practices, and procedures
  • Work autonomously with limited oversight; provide professional input, guidance, and problem solving
  • This position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside
  • Local travel in the general area may be required, with occasional travel outside the local area
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following.
  • Experience in an engineering lab environment area overseeing or implementing safety, security, compliance and/or property management.
  • Experience with coordination and implementation of Environmental Health Safety and Sustainment
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
  • Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
  • Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
  • Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
  • Ability to organize and track Capital and Expense assets
  • Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
