- You will interface with both internal and external suppliers, engineering, and program leadership personnel to develop cost reduction activities, mitigate process defects, and promote effective design choices through statistical analysis.
- Gain hands‑on experience in a manufacturing environment with development RF Microelectronics (Fire Control AESAs, Electronic Warfare, SATCOMs, etc.).
- Resolve product‑specific design and process challenges for cutting‑edge RF microelectronics used in land, sea, airborne, and space applications.
- Obtain intimate details of the processes and equipment used to assemble hardware.
- Develop materials and process experience with an in‑depth knowledge of MIL‑STD‑883, J‑STD‑001H, AS9100, RF microelectronics in a production environment.
- Focus on operational plans with short to medium term (1–2 year) impact on the suite of programs, recommending and implementing new products, processes, policies and standards to support the functional strategy.
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience.
- Currently possess or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Strong and effective communication skills to convey technical trade studies with internal and external customers.
- Data‑driven and results‑oriented individual with a track record of mitigating risks and capturing opportunities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and maneuver through issues to establish root‑cause corrective action.
- Drive continuous improvement through process and cycle‑time reductions using Six Sigma principles.
- Support ongoing development builds in a clean‑room environment.
- Advanced degree.
- Knowledge of program life cycles and criticality of achieving MRL/TRL requirements.
- Knowledge of DFMA & DPD processes.
- Knowledge of surface‑mount technology (SMT), adhesives, wire bond, vacuum lamination, conformal coat, and other electronic assembly processes.
- Experience with running designed experiments (DOEs), statistical data‑handling analysis.
- Knowledge of metrology processes to diagnose product‑specific issues (CSAM, Xray, FTIR, XRF, SEM/EDS, XPS, etc.).
- Knowledge of capacity analysis and purchasing of capital equipment to support program needs.
Salary Range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD

Specific benefits are dependent on the business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
