OverviewThe MPD department is seeking a FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) Engineer II to join our team. In this role, you will leverage advanced technologies to create cutting‑edge solutions for sensor and effector products. You will partner with experienced, multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architecture, execute detailed design and simulations, and perform integration and verification tasks. You will document your designs within the appropriate configuration management tools and provide comprehensive engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
WhatYou Will Do
- Provide full lifecycle support of production quality FPGA
- Generate FPGA designs
- Design and code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability
- Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plan, and user guides
- A master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related STEM major is required.
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- Experience with one or more of the following:
Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design or Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, Electrical Components, Digital Signal Processing, or PCB design.
- 3.0 cumulative GPA desired from an ABET accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience with VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis and troubleshooting using common lab equipment.

Salary Range: 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.
