Overview
Raytheon’s Connected Factory Intelligence and Automation (CFI&A) department is looking for an Automation Systems Engineering (ASE) team member to serve as the Front End Of The Business (FEOTB) Lead. The role, located in McKinney, TX, focuses on delivering advanced manufacturing and digital technologies to Raytheon factories. It combines applications engineering, manufacturing engineering, and business development to transition initiatives from concept to reality.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with program and factory customers to identify, develop, and define manufacturing automation and digital solutions.
- Support early New Product Introduction activities, including Design for Manufacturing engagements.
- Align Industry
4.0 initiatives with factory and program strategic roadmaps. - Provide technical leadership from ideation through project definition and continue guidance after hand‑off to the execution team.
- Travel 25‑50% of the time.
- Typically a STEM degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (DoD Clearance required).
- Project leadership experience (e.g., Technical Project Lead, Project Manager, Integrated Product Team Lead).
- Experience with Industry
4.0 technologies, including manufacturing automation, smart factory technologies, robotics, controls, and vision systems. - Experience with New Product Introduction, Design for Manufacturing, Design for Automation, and detailed equipment specification for production.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience developing technology strategies aligned to business needs and ROI.
The salary range for this role is $107,500 to $204,500. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Additional incentive compensation may be offered at the discretion of management.
