Position Overview
This Onsite role is based in McKinney, Texas, in the Airborne Antenna Design department. It focuses on full-scope Independent Design, Verification & Validation (IV&V) solutions for antenna products.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy RF passive circuits (radiators, RF manifolds, RF transitions, etc.) and electromagnetic modeling.
- Implement best practice standards for planning, coordinating, and executing RF passive circuit design and EM modeling with sound engineering process discipline and leadership.
- Follow established procedures and instructions while working closely with program and functional leadership to ensure overall design objectives are met.
- Develop technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
- Travel may be periodically required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 5 years’ prior relevant experience, including any combination of:
- Experience in passive circuit design and/or EM modeling;
- Experience performing structured design processes, root‑cause problem solving, and successful on‑time/on‑schedule task execution;
- Experience with test equipment such as antenna ranges, vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and/or power meters.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
- Experience with Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, MATLAB, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to provide input or guidance to lower‑level engineers.
- Ability to manage conflicting or non‑existent requirements in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
- Relocation based on candidate eligibility.
