Weekend Technical Support Engineer II; 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Work with various teams of engineers, assemblers, and technicians.
• Perform electrical engineering functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modification of electronic or electro‑mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
• Analyze production data to determine root‑cause of failures.
• Participate in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.
• Coordinate and execute tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges and maintain/sanitize range infrastructure to meet program requirements.
• Provide first‑shift weekend engineering support of production test schedules.
• Operate 100% on‑site in McKinney, TX.

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of 2 years of prior work experience in relevant engineering activities.
• Experience with RF fundamentals – electromagnetic spectrum, propagation delay, RF components.
• Experience with antenna measurement patterns and working principles.
• Knowledge of decibels (dB’s) and dBm values relative to power levels in watts.
• Ready to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
• U.S. citizenship.
• Preferably RF experience and knowledge of microwave theory.
• Ability to build positive relationships and communicate clearly within and outside the team.
• Results‑focused and capable of driving tasks to closure.
• Active DoD Secret clearance investigated within the last five years.
