Responsibilities
Electrical Engineering - Modular Systems in McKinney, TX. This role focuses on design and integration of modular power systems, including skid‑based solutions and prefabricated electrical buildings. Responsibilities include developing electrical one‑lines and system architectures, sizing and specifying equipment, supporting integration of switch gear, transformers, UPS systems, and control interfaces. The engineer collaborates cross‑functionally to define protection schemes, grounding strategies, and power distribution designs, while supporting compliance and commissioning activities.
This is a hybrid role with moderate travel requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- 4+ years of experience in power distribution or mission‑critical electrical systems
- Experience with one‑line diagrams and electrical system integration (switch gear, protection, controls)
- Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA standards
- Proficiency with tools such as AutoCAD Electrical, Solid Works Electrical, and Excel
- Experience performing electrical calculations (load, short circuit, coordination, etc.)
- PE license or EIT in progress
- Medium voltage (5 kV‑35 kV), E‑House, or skid‑based system experience
- Data center or critical power environments
- UPS systems and redundancy design (N, N+1, 2N)
- Relay coordination, SCADA, or controls integration
- UL/NRTL compliance exposure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
