Weekend Technical Support Engineer II; 2nd Shift

Job Overview

Technical Support Engineer II – Electrical / RF – 2nd Shift – Onsite – McKinney, TX (Raytheon Airborne Antenna Design Department).

Main office: ~2501W University Dr, McKinney, TX. 100% onsite. 2nd shift weekend engineering support of production test schedules.

U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance after day
1.

• Collaborate with engineers, assemblers, and technicians.
• Perform electrical engineering functions: layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify electronic or electro‑mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
• Analyze production data to determine root‑cause of failures.
• Plan and execute rework of production assemblies.
• Coordinate and execute tasks on Raytheon antenna ranges and maintain standardized range infrastructure.
• Support RF product testing and related RF test equipment.

• Degree in STEM or related field; minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with RF fundamentals (spectrum, propagation delay, RF components).
• Experience with antenna measurements and patterns.
• Knowledge of decibels (dB) and dBm values relative to power levels in watts.
• RF experience and microwave theory preferred.
• Active DoD Secret clearance within the last five years preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and results‑oriented mindset.

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (good faith estimate).
