Senior Systems Engineer – Mission Analyst

The Operations and Mission Analysis department supports customer‑focused mission modeling and simulation activities across all customer areas ms develop, analyze, and create flexible integration solutions for sensors, effectors, command and control, logistics, and operations, delivering tools and methods to evaluate campaign, mission, and system‑level analysis and visualizations based on customer requirements.
Responsibilities- Participate in the development and implementation of model‑based solutions to support mission trade studies using mission and engagement level simulations.
- Develop and integrate variable‑fidelity computer models and simulations that capture system and system‑of‑systems effects in complex threat environments.
- Model system and mission kill chains using government, commercial, and Raytheon simulation tools.
- Execute mission system simulations and analyze their results.
- Develop metrics and results products that communicate the chain of events leading to an action.
- Participate in technical reviews with internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with program managers, external customers, and team experts to develop, test, and implement analytic approaches that generate data to support programmatic decisions.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or other common languages.
- Experience with scientific computing environments such as MATLAB.
- Experience with sensors (RADAR, EOIR, etc.), network communications, weapons/effects (missiles, projectiles), command and control, and/or resource management.
- Experience with standard government modeling tools such as AFSIM, Suppressor, Brawler, or similar tools.
- Experience with military operations analysis, modeling and simulation in the defense industry, and/or data analysis and visualization.
- Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Experience working in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with large‑volume data analysis and statistics.
- Familiarity with numerical optimization techniques, analysis of alternatives, or design of experiments.
- Experience providing briefs and presentations to U.S. government customers.
- Active Top‑Secret clearance (if applicable).
- Ability to understand tactics as described by military experts and to represent them verbally, graphically, and in simulations.
- Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD (depends on experience).
