Production Test Engineer (PTE) – Onsite

Security Clearance:
Interim U.S. government‑issued clearance required prior to start.
The role is part of Raytheon’s manufacturing team, supporting test processes from development through sustained production and depot activities.
- Provide test engineering support to manufacturing areas, interacting daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding urgent test needs.
- Observe, analyze, and report test data; perform tests using engineering drawings, manuals, and related documentation.
- Perform technical tasks including process, test, troubleshoot, and repair of digital, analog and RF equipment.
- Disposition non‑conforming material using root‑cause and corrective‑action analysis; investigate corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives, applying Core/Six Sigma principles and data‑driven decision making to improve cycle time, reduce ergonomic risk, automate processes, and cut costs.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2years of relevant experience.
- Experience with RF test methods, troubleshooting, RF microwave product testing, engineering and/or manufacturing.
- Ability to obtain Interim U.S. government‑issued security clearance before start.
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings to perform measurements and troubleshoot electronic equipment.
- Knowledge of RF measurements such as S‑parameters, noise figure, third‑order intercept, phase error, return loss, compression, gain, insertion loss, VSWR.
- Familiarity with test equipment and hardware: network analyzers, data acquisition (DAQ), DC power supplies, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters, digital multimeters, pulse generators, signal generators, attenuators, RF amplifiers, couplers, power dividers, RF switches.
- Active and existing security clearance.
Security clearance is mandatory. This position requires a DoD Secret clearance, with interim clearance obtained prior to start. Clearance is handled by the DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSACAS). Candidates may be required to attend in‑person interview steps regardless of remote eligibility.
BenefitsSalary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD (depending on experience).
