About the Role
Principal Technical Support Engineer – Airborne Antenna Design Department. Onsite position located in McKinney, TX. Requires an active DoD Secret security clearance.
What You Will Do- Collaborate with teams of engineers, assemblers, and technicians.
- Perform electrical engineering functions including design, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic or electromechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems.
- Analyze production data to determine root‑cause analysis of failures.
- Participate in planning and executing rework of production assemblies.
- Coordinate and execute tasks in Raytheon antenna ranges, maintaining and standardizing range infrastructure to meet program requirements.
- Work the 1st shift (100% on‑site) in McKinney, TX.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, including but not limited to:
- Experience with RF fundamentals (electromagnetic spectrum, propagation delay, RF components).
- Experience with antenna measurement patterns and antenna operation.
- Knowledge of decibels (dB’s) and/or dBm values relative to power levels in watts.
- RF experience and knowledge of microwave theory.
- Strong relationship‑building and clear communication skills within team environments.
- Result‑focused with the ability to drive tasks to closure.
- Active DoD Secret clearance with investigation completed within the last five years.
Salary Range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (good‑faith estimate).
