• Develop, analyze, and complete material proposals and create the Material Cost Summary (MCS)
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to evaluate material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts and programs
• Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools
• Lead the development of Material Basis of Estimates, tracking progress, validating supplier quotes, reviewing purchase order history, ensuring consistency across the program, and confirming a sound estimating approach
• Ensure proposals comply with all FAR and internal requirements as often the sole material point of contact
• Develop and implement solutions that result in a thorough material package
• Perform detailed and complex analysis of inputs to ensure soundness of material estimates

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience
• Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel (formulas, macros, look‑ups, pivot tables, filtering/sorting)
• U.S. citizenship required

• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and management
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a schedule‑driven environment
• Knowledge and experience with proposal development, price buildup, and estimating and pricing processes
• Knowledge of federal proposal regulations (FAR, DFAR, TINA)

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD
