Senior Production Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Test Engineer (PTE) to join our team at Raytheon, located in McKinney, Texas. This role supports manufacturing test processes from product development through sustained production.

Location:

McKinney, TX.

• Provide test engineering support for manufacturing areas.
• Interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding urgent test needs.
• Observe, analyze, and report test data; perform tests and utilize engineering drawings, manuals, and other documentation.
• Perform a variety of technical efforts including process, test, troubleshooting, and repair of digital, analog, and RF equipment.
• Disposition non-conforming material using root‑cause and corrective‑action analysis; investigate to prevent recurrence.
• Assist in driving continuous improvement, including process improvements to reduce cycle time, ergonomic risk, and costs using Core/Six Sigma principles and data‑driven decision making.

• Typical requirement: STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 2 years experience in RF test methods, troubleshooting, RF microwave product testing, engineering, or manufacturing.
• Experience reading and interpreting drawings for measurements and troubleshooting electronic equipment.
• Experience with RF measurements including S‑parameters, Noise Figure, Third‑order Intercept, Phase Error, Return Loss, Compression, Gain, Insertion Loss, VSWR.
• Experience using test equipment and hardware (Network Analyzers, DAQ, DC Power Supplies, Spectrum Analyzer, Oscilloscope, Power Meters, Digital Multimeters, Pulse Generators, Signal Generators, Attenuators, RF Amplifiers, Couplers, power dividers, RF Switches).
• Active and existing security clearance (DoD Secret).

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD.
