Senior Engineer – Deputy Integrated Product Team Lead (PSA)
Location:
McKinney, TX (Onsite, U.S. Citizen required) – a Secret DoD security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Serve as Control Account Manager: EV reporting & analysis, BCRs, VARs, EAC inputs.
- Own development hardware deliveries, including data reviews, consents‑to‑ship, and TDP variances.
- Plan hardware utilization and drive producibility design updates for transition to production.
- Support trade studies for power supply redesigns and serve as backup for the primary PSA design lead.
- Plan and execute integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories and production environments.
- Provide product test and troubleshooting support; support root‑cause failure investigations.
- Participate in internal and external reviews and engage in knowledge transfer activities and mentorship of junior engineers.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Design, analysis, test or simulation experience with converter topologies such as buck, boost, or buck‑boost.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams to achieve schedule, budget and technical commitments.
- Experience with project management tools such as Earned Value and/or Agile Execution.
- Secret DoD security clearance (active and transferable) required prior to start date.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
- Robust design and analysis experience with analog or digital power converter topologies (flyback, half‑bridge, full‑bridge, forward, push‑pull, etc.).
- Knowledge of transformer and inductor design considerations in power electronics circuits.
- Experience with circuit card assembly‑level or system‑level power architecture trades.
- Analog electronics design experience with FETs/BJTs, op‑amps, filters, clock/data termination, and comparator circuits.
- Proficiency with MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar quantitative tools.
- Experience with schematic capture/CAD packages, power converter specification development, and ECAD guidance.
- Lab equipment proficiency (power supplies, electronic loads, multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
- Proposal development experience.
Salary Range: $86,800–$165,200 USD (good faith estimate). Annual short‑term and long‑term incentive compensation programs may apply.
