FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) Engineer II

Responsibilities- Provide full lifecycle support of production quality FPGA
- Generate FPGA designs
- Design and code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability
- Create complete documentation including requirements, verification plans, and user guides
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, develop architecture, execute detailed design and simulations, and perform integration and verification tasks
- Document designs within appropriate configuration management tools and support throughout product lifecycle
- Master's degree in electrical engineering or related STEM field
- 12 months or less of relevant professional experience (excluding internships)
- Experience with analog, digital electronics, mixed signal, circuit design/analysis, power electronics, VHDL, FPGA, electrical components, DSP, or PCB design
- Demonstrated VHDL or Verilog coding, simulation, and synthesis experience
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, analysis, and troubleshooting using common lab equipment
- 3.0 cumulative GPA from an ABET-accredited institution (preferred)
U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance required after day 1. Must have an active existing security clearance.
