Position Type:

- Act as the primary quality point of contact for the assigned program, interfacing with program functions, suppliers, and customers.
- Collaborate with program teams on quality, cost, and schedule performance; provide strategic insights and early engagement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with senior managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), customers, and support functions.
- Lead the adoption and application of the Customer Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) Operating System and associated tools.
- Own Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Failure Review & Corrective Action System (FRACAS) activities, ensuring systemic issues are resolved.
- Oversee quality performance in a production lab, resolve issues, and deliver innovative solutions to meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with design engineering, operations, and supply chain to develop product maturation and transition strategies; support APQP, NPI, MRA, and TRA planning.
- Act as the voice of the customer to ensure mission success and address customer needs.
- Participate in program document reviews, approvals, and verifications to maintain high-quality standards.
- Maintain additional program access as required for seamless execution.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
- Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Proficiency in risk and opportunity management, assessment, mitigation, and capture.
- Familiarity with drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Experience with Nonconforming Material Boards and/or Failure Review Boards (MRB/FRB).
- Strong background in root cause corrective actions (RCCA) and quality methodology tools.
- Effective communication skills with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Active, transferable Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- CORE Champion, Industry Six Sigma, Green Belt certification, or similar.
- Experience estimating and preparing new business proposals;
Basis of Estimate (BOE) certification. - Knowledge of factory systems and software such as PRISM, SAP, and CMES.
- Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience reviewing Statements of Work (SOW), Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and participating in Change Control Board (CCB) reviews.
- Direct customer interfacing experience; strong presentation and judgment skills.
Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
