What You Will Do
  • Develop test equipment based on system level performance requirements.
  • Design test stations for production factories, customer sites, and engineering needs.
  • Build and maintain optical test stations throughout the factory supporting multiple programs.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Experience designing optical systems, components, and test stations.
  • Experience building, aligning, testing, calibrating, and maintaining optical systems.
  • Develop requirements and requirements flow down to sub-assemblies.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience with Optical Design software such as ZEMAX or Code

  • Experience with CREO or other AutoCAD programs.
  • Experience with optical metrology standards and processes.
  • Experience designing and maintaining test equipment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
