Senior Material and Process Engineer – McKinney, TX

Location: McKinney, TX
Onsite U.S.

-based role requiring U.S. citizenship

We are seeking a Senior Material and Process Engineer to join our Material and Process (M&P) team in the North Texas region. The engineer will primarily focus on material and process specification creation, gear part creation, material management, and incoming shelf‑life‑controlled material verifications, working with manufacturing, supply chain, operations, and program authority teams to resolve pressing technical design and producibility issues.

Responsibilities
  • Manage material and gear part data in Common Product Data Management (cPDM), including drawing maintenance and sustainment activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend material & process improvements to meet new product requirements.
  • Create and maintain material and process specifications.
  • Participate in a rapid response team that addresses factory manufacturing process interruptions due to M&P specification issues.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical design and producibility issues.
Required Qualifications
  • University degree (or equivalent experience) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience interpreting technical datasheets, Mil‑Standard, and ASTM standards.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Strong professional technical writing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of additional experience.
  • Proficiency in presenting technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving skills using data‑driven approaches.

Compensation

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD per year.
