Principal Electrical Engineer – Radar Array Lead
Location:
McKinney, TX (Onsite)
Security clearance required:
DoD Secret. U.S. citizenship required.
- Act as the interface between program engineering and management as the Array design authority.
- Communicate technical issues and prioritize with the Array Chief Engineer and system chief engineer.
- Assist the Array Chief Engineer with array build, design, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Drive requirement or design updates from the program perspective to the Array design team.
- Work with the Array factory build team to understand and optimize the build process.
- Occasional travel may be required to support customers at various sites.
- Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
- Technical leadership experience and ability to resolve tough technical challenges.
- Electrical hardware design and development experience with adherence to design standards.
- Experience in producing new or evolved active antenna array assemblies.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM fields preferred.
- Experience with design, development, and production of complex military electronics subsystems.
- Broad technical background to lead complex technical projects in a dynamic, team-based environment.
- Ability to assimilate inputs, derive requirements, develop architecture, implement design, perform analysis and testing in lab settings.
- Digital, analog, RF testing and debugging of circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems.
- Understanding of CCA design and manufacturing.
- Supplier management, global supply chain collaboration, and identifying quality, lead time, and manufacturability issues.
- Proposal writing with cost estimation.
- Experience with EVMS/Control Account Manager certification and master schedule maintenance.
Relocation based on candidate eligibility. Salary range: $107,500–$204,500. Eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive compensation programs as applicable.
