Position SummaryThe Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) Engagements Subject Matter Expert (SME) drives the implementation of Model-Based Systems Engineering solutions will collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to implement MBE capabilities and practices within the Raytheon Digital Engineering Ecosystem. The role requires a strong background in hardware product development and experience in MBSE, MBE, and Model-Based Product Line Engineering.
Responsibilities- Drive Systems Engineering processes on engagements.
- Create and validate MBSE models, including stakeholder needs/requirements, behavioral diagrams, structural diagrams, and measures of effectiveness/technical performance measures.
- Support development of connectivity between MBSE tools and other hardware design/analysis tools.
- Create specifications, interface descriptions, execute trade studies and analyses.
- Lead multiple tool and environment integrations.
- Develop and share best practices, mentor, and train others.
- Degree in STEM and minimum eight (8) years of experience in MBSE.
- Experience with systems, mechanical, or electrical design and analysis tools.
- Experience with requirements development and management.
- Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw/Teamwork Cloud and SysML modeling.
- Experience with Magic Grid methodology and framework.
- Experience developing products in agile and waterfall life cycles.
- Familiarity with digital twin concepts.
- Familiarity with integrating COTS solutions.
- Familiarity with Syndeia (semantic broker) by Intercax.
- Knowledge of Product Line Engineering (PLE) and application to SysML models.
- Experience with digital ecosystems and data connectivity via digital threads.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Kibana, or Grafana.
- Exposure to MBSE starting point models and MBSE Digital Engineering Environments.
Eligible for relocation assistance. Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
