About the Role

Senior RF Systems Engineer

Location:

McKinney, Texas (on‑site).

Responsible for integrating and testing complex airborne RF sensor systems, working across hardware and software disciplines to develop test plans, evaluate system performance, and verify requirements until final sell‑off.

Responsibilities
  • Support Maritime Radar Systems product lifecycle.
  • Conduct radar mode engineering testing, integration, and flight testing.
  • Perform radar mode design.
  • Develop radar capabilities, signal processing, and waveform analyses.
  • Create mathematical algorithms for radar signal processing.
  • Make performance predictions and analyze test data to evaluate algorithm performance.
  • Interface with engineering team members, including chief engineers, systems engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and firmware engineers.
  • Perform analyses on radar flight test data.
  • Prepare mode designs for radar systems.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics).
  • Minimum five years of experience in radar systems engineering and algorithm development, including radar signal processing techniques and mathematical/radar mode algorithm development.
  • Experience designing and analyzing radar receiver architectures and radar mode designs.
  • Embedded GPS/INS (EGI) systems experience.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and C or C++ coding.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active Secret clearance with an investigation within five years.
  • Advanced degree in STEM.
  • Experience with radar performance requirements, modes/capabilities, calibration, system architecture, and interfaces.
  • Experience preparing and delivering technical presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
