Position Summary

Program Management, Planning & Scheduling professional to join the Program Design & Planning organization. Responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule, ensuring accurate and effective plans for the scope of work.

What You Will Do
  • Understand the program technical and programmatic solution, partnering with the program team to integrate that solution into the IMS baseline plan, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical requirements are fully integrated into the execution plan.
  • Lead creation and maintenance of compliant Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) based on requirements provided by the customer, achieving required cost and schedule integration.
  • Lead and support the team to develop a program plan and IMS consistent with IPDS and the program life cycle, reviewing IMS planned work for accuracy and identifying missing or improperly planned work.
  • Use and recommend appropriate alternative or supplemental program management plans/artifacts (HUM, MPS, First Unit Flow) to help the program team understand and manage the plan.
  • Conduct and explain Schedule Risk Analysis results to program teams, integrating mitigation plans into the IMS and schedule risks into the Risk Management process with the assistance of a Scheduled Risk Analysis SME.
  • Provide weekly and monthly planning metrics on schedule status, baseline maintenance, critical path analysis, schedule variance analysis, and network logic validation, employing appropriate Earned Value Management System processes.
  • Mentor and train junior planners.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 8 years of Program Planning or Scheduling or Project Management experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience.
  • Prior work experience using industry‑related scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, or similar).
  • Prior work experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and/or evaluating critical path and workflow.
  • Prior work experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or a similar business process.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate the effective integration and maintenance in the IMS of technical, schedule, and cost data in an EVMS environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand the program technical and programmatic solution and lead integration and modelling into the IMS.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret/analyze SRA results, program schedule risk/opportunity drivers, and schedule probability of success.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Planning and functional organization SMEs to support their program teams.
  • Understanding of hardware and software development life cycle, exposure to agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, teach, and support proper scheduling and EVMS techniques for project personnel or teams of varying size and background.
  • Ability to understand different perspectives and ask the right questions to ensure IMS integrity.
  • Ability to identify and drive process improvement and work with the team to develop solutions and solve problems.

  • The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
