The Optics Electronics Department is an electrical engineering organization that designs, tests, and integrates advanced electrical subsystems for airborne, naval, and land-based military applications.
Location:
McKinney, TX (onsite required).
- Design, analyze, and simulate circuits.
- Develop design documentation and maintain obsolescence trade assessments.
- Perform troubleshooting, interconnect development, and resolution of hardware performance issues.
- Carry out hands‑on lab work in analog and/or digital electronics.
- Utilize industry‑standard CAE tools and EE lab equipment.
- Engage in schematic capture, HDL code development, synthesis, simulation, and testing.
- Support troubleshooting efforts in lab environments and during system integration.
- Document design approaches, test results, and issues in a structured manner.
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM discipline.
- Experience reading drawings and electrical schematics.
- Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits.
- Experience documenting test results and providing repair recommendations.
- Experience working in a lab environment with standard Electrical Engineering lab equipment (Vector Network Analyzers, Power Meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, digital multimeters, and signal sources).
- Experience with Mentor Graphics, MATLAB, or PSPICE.

U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is required after day 1.
CompensationSalary range: 57,200 USD – 108,800 USD. Benefits dependent on business unit and collective bargaining agreement.
