Position:
Entry‑Level Mechanical Engineer
Location: McKinney, TX (Onsite)
Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship required; must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
What You Will Do- Collaborate in a multi‑discipline team setting to solve complex engineering problems.
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings for RF product designs.
- Develop prototype hardware designs and coordinate fabrication.
- Perform hands‑on integration and test support for prototype hardware.
- Hold design and drawing reviews with peers and subject matter experts.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent STEM discipline.
- Experience performing design and analysis for packaging of RF products (circuit card assemblies, antennas, radomes, RF test equipment, harnesses, and interconnects) throughout the product life cycle using 3D CAD software.
- Experience with creation of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) using geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) for products.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance (DoD Secret).
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with 3D CAD design (preferably Creo Parametric).
- Experience in antenna and/or electronics packaging.
- Experience with harness and interconnect design.
- Experience creating engineering drawings.
- Experience fabricating prototype designs.
- Familiarity with the application of GD&T.
- Experience working collaboratively in a multi‑discipline team.
- Experience performing tolerance analysis.
- Self‑motivated problem solver with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
