Job Description:
The Airborne RF Electronics Electrical Engineering Department empowers people to deliver innovative, affordable, and producible products and technologies to support airborne radar solutions throughout the full product lifecycle while remaining accountable for program execution cost, schedule, and performance. The Electrical Engineer II – Production Support will work on highly complex radar products and test sets, providing onsite technical support and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
You Will Do
- Troubleshoot and isolate failures to root cause on Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs), modules, components, and test sets, covering analog, digital, RF, power, and software interfaces.
- Resolve hardware and process issues encountered during production and sustainment.
- Interpret and apply engineering documentation, including schematics, assembly drawings, wire lists, and parts lists.
- Analyze production test data to verify compliance with specifications and identify anomalies or trends.
- Work within a cross‑functional team environment to maintain production schedules and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide daily onsite technical support in a high‑mix production and lab environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with electronics and electrical circuits, and ability to isolate failures to root cause.
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency with laboratory equipment such as multimeters, signal sources, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers.
- Experience working on a production program or manufacturing operations.
- U.S. citizenship required. Must obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance post‑start.
- Experience with supplier engagement.
- Experience documenting test results and engineering recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with Mentor Graphics, Matlab, Python, or PSPICE.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with leadership and colleagues.
Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 USD.
