OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in the Airborne & Ground Optics Department. The role involves all aspects of mechanical design, from concept to model/drawing completion, and may include assembly of designs. The candidate will work closely with Chief Engineers, Lead Engineers, and product engineers, using RTX tools such as CREO, Product Data Management, Adobe, and MS Office.
Responsibilities- Utilize RTX tools including CREO modeling software and Product Data Management (PDM).
- Design and documentation support using engineering tools, Adobe, and MS Office suite.
- Execute engineering change and drawing release processes.
- Provide analytical and technical engineering work within a program environment, including presentations on designs as needed.
- Train on Raytheon processes and procedures.
- Assist in building hardware in a lab environment.
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with 3D modeling software such as CREO, Solid Works, or equivalent.
- Electromechanical design experience.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including basic tolerancing knowledge.
- Experience delivering presentations (verbal and/or written).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Salary range: 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD.
