Up to 100% including Iraq and other international destinations, with average 4‑5 month rotations

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain the Multi‑Function RF System (MFRFS) radar systems and/or the Coyote UAS weapon platform.
  • Serve as a technical expert, answering all questions regarding system operation and maintenance.
  • Provide guidance to U.S. Army soldiers for emplacement, tactical operation, preventive maintenance, and march order tasks.
  • Control inventory of field‑level spare parts, and record all maintenance actions.
  • Align priorities to balance mission requirements with administrative tasks efficiently.
  • Work in austere environments at Forward Operating Bases and remote locations.
  • Support all locations on a rotational basis, typically 4–5 months per rotation.
Special Work Conditions
  • Deploy to remote international locations with little notice.
  • Operate in harsh living conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
  • Move or lift equipment up to 60 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
  • Live and work in Middle East desert environments with temperatures above 120°F.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years relevant experience, or an advanced degree and 1+ year experience.
  • Depot Support maintenance experience on electronics or radar.
  • Experience formulating and briefing technical reports on radar and Coyote UAS systems.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and bulletins.
  • Ability to perform technical procedures and document actions precisely.
  • Experience with test equipment used in electronic installation, maintenance, and testing.
  • Basic radar theory knowledge.
  • Active, transferable Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship.
  • Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience in a military environment or graduate of U.S. military sensor/radar technical school (e.g., MOS 94M, MOS 14E).
  • Experience driving a vehicle with a manual transmission.
  • Familiarity with COLTS Logistics Database and/or certification.
  • Experience with the CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) process.
  • Familiarity with Sentinel, KuRFS, Q36/Q37 Fire Finder, and LCMR radar systems.
  • Experience with sensor or radar system operations and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of tactical HVAC systems.
  • Experience with UAS assembly, disassembly, and repair.
  • Experience handling 1.4 explosives or gas generators.
  • Experience as a UAS maintainer/pilot.
  • Experience with munitions handling/loading.
  • Deployment experience in combat environments.
  • Excellent technical writing, oral communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of military protocols.
